UPPER TUMON, Guam – Noah Harris ignited Guam High’s offense for the second straight week and helped lead the Panthers to their second straight shutout victory and into the island football playoffs.

Harris ran for two touchdowns and 100 yards on nine carries, Braden Flinn added 60 yards and two TDs and Christian Polite caught a 68-yard scoring pass from Flinn as the Panthers blanked John F. Kennedy 40-0 Friday at JFK’s Ramsey Field.

Polite also had 31 rushing yards. Damon Oka returned an interception 36 yards for a score.

Now, the Panthers go up against Father Duenas Memorial in the first round of the playoffs, site and time to be determined.

The Friars routed the Panthers 56-16 on Sept. 19, but Guam High assistant coach Greg Jacobs said, “I think we’ll be up for the challenge. We’re a much better team than the last time we faced them.”
