What: Third game in a the best-of-five Okinawa Activities Council championship series, with host rights to the Nov. 1 Far East Class AA semifinal on the line. The host Panthers lead the series 2-0; the Dragons (0-2 league) must win all three remaining games. The Panthers won the opener 13-0 Sept. 5 at Kadena and Game 2 29-0 on Friday at Kubasaki’s Mike Petty Stadium.
Players to watch: Kadena’s most dangerous weapon has been Brandon Harris, with four interceptions, 224 all-purpose yards and three TDs. Stan Schrock, at receiver, quarterback and return man, has 176 all-purpose yards; triple-threat QB Lamar Stevens has 148 yards total offense and two TDs in two games. Kubasaki counters with Marquette Warren (236 yards, 1 TD, 59 carries) and TD-threat wideout Dionte Waite, with 160 yards on six catches, two of which set up touchdowns. Kubasaki must cut back on its turnover radio; the Dragons have 11 turnovers to just one takeaway.
