Last week: Scored six goals, running her Pacific-leading season total to 33, and helped power the Trojans to two victories, including a school-first win over American School In Japan, and a school-best 15-2-1 record for the season.
Ashliman, a freshman, had four goals in the Trojans’ 10-0 home shutout of Seisen International on May 7. The next night, Ashliman scored two first-half goals as Zama blanked the Mustangs 4-0, again at Zama.
"Mallarie is a consistent, dependable player who finishes well. She loves to score goals, and this is evident in her stats," said coach Vanessa Little of Ashliman, who also has eight assists. "Having such experience and maturity as a freshman is rare. I can’t wait to see her play when she’s a senior."

Last week: Scored three goals and assisted on two others as the four-time Far East Class AA Tournament champion Panthers improved to 9-7-1 on the season with two victories in two matches.
Ahner, a freshman, had two goals and two assists in Kadena’s 10-0 win on May 6 at Okinawa Christian International. On Friday, he broke a 1-1 halftime tie with a goal in the 42nd minute as the Panthers captured the Okinawa Activities Council season series from Kubasaki, winning the match 3-1 and the series 3-2.
"Aaron is a young player with a lot of potential," coach Tom McKinney said. "He will be a great asset for years to come."
