Dec 9-18: Played a central role in the Warriors’ moving over the .500 mark for the first time this season, sweeping all three games at home leading into the holiday break in improving to 4-3 overall and 3-3 in Korean-American Interscholastic Activities Conference play.

Spencer, a senior, had 12 points and 10 rebounds as Daegu downed Taejon Christian International 57-38 on Dec. 12. Two days later, he scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds in a 63-18 triumph over Global Visions Christian. On the 15th, Spencer scored 21 points and had seven rebounds as the Warriors beat Yongsan International-Seoul 72-62.

Kadena, Okinawa

Dec. 9-18: Continued her early-season scoring and rebounding prowess and helped lead the defending Far East Class AA tournament champion Panthers to a 10-1 mark entering the two-week Christmas holiday break.

Walker, a sophomore, scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Panthers pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat Itoman, a Japanese team, 59-52 on Dec. 15.

Three days later, also at home, Walker had 19 points and 12 rebounds as Kadena improved to 2-0 in Okinawa Activities Council games with a 68-39 victory over Kubasaki.
