YONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea — Three women’s and 19 men’s openings remain in the 17th Pacificwide open interservice softball tournament, scheduled for May 25-28 at the Lombardo Field FourPlex on Yongsan Garrison in Seoul, organizers said.

The first leg of the Pacific interservice Grand Slam circuit has 13 men’s and 13 women’s teams paid and confirmed. The event is open to a maximum 32 men’s and 16 women’s teams that pay their entry fee of $200 by May 14, organizer Bennie Jackson said.

Military teams from Japan, Okinawa, South Korea and one women’s interservice team comprising All-Armed Forces tournament veterans from the States are entered.
