BRUNSSUM, Netherlands - Aaron Garrison rushed eight times for 123 yards and three TDs Saturday as the Mannheim Bison shrugged off having to forfeit their opening-day victory over SHAPE, with a 36-16 victory over AFNORTH.
Chance Bullard scored twice for Mannheim (1-1), which found itself guilty of having used an ineligible player in the SHAPE game.
“Mannheim came to play,” AFNORTH coach Greg Blankenship said in an e-mail on Saturday, “and dominated the offensive and defensive line all day.”
AFNORTH (0-2) scored on a pass from Jacob Reynolds to Matt Byrne and on a run by Tony Legare, who finished with 42 total yards rushing. Reynolds ran for 72 yards and passed for 88, Blankenship reported.
