Noteworthy—According to MWR official Tom Hlavacek, SHAPE’s Ortgun came out aggressively in the first round and took a slight edge. In the second, Frei took the lead with left hooks and straight lefts. Ortgun rocked Frei to start the third round but Frei rebounded and dominated midway through the round to win the match.

At 152, Menagh landed a right hook that caused the referee to stop the bout, and at 165, Horsey trapped Buyson in his own corner, scoring a standing eight-count 1:45 into the second round. He ended the round with a left hook that scored well.

Wiesbaden will host the Hispanic Heritage Boxing Tournament this Saturday.
