HEIDELBERG, Germany - Quarterback Kevin Gray passed for two touchdowns and ran for a third Saturday as Heidelberg clinched the Division I-South title with a 34-6 homecoming victory over Vilseck.

After the teams played a scoreless first quarter, Gray plunged over from 2 yards out in the second period to give the Lions (5-0) a lead they would not surrender.

They increased their lead to 12-0 at halftime on an 18-yard TD run by Sterling Jones, who carried the ball 15 times for 167 yards on the day.

Gray, who finished the game 5-for-7 with 81 yards passing, completed TD passes of 24 yards to Chase Boone and 31 yards to Jones in the second half. David Hoke added a 7-yard TD run, and Heidelberg earned a safety when Vilseck snapped the ball out of the end zone on a punt attempt.
