STEEREBEEK, Belgium - Kerey Kuheana rushed for 192 yards and three touchdowns as the defending European D-III champion Alconbury Dragons improved to 2-1 with a 48-20 victory Saturday over Brussels.

According to Brussels coach Tim Mobley, Alconbury, which led 21-6 at halftime, took the opening kickoff of the second half 63 yards for a touchdown, as the Dragons scored on their first four possessions after intermission.

Quarterback J.J. Black amassed 154 yards and scored three times for Alconbury.

Defensively, Kuheana and Beau Hocevar led the way for Alconbury. Hocevar posted 14 tackles, and Kuheana had 10 tackles and a pass interception. Cameron Hlatky-Hall also came up with an interception for Alconbury.

Brussels fell to 0-3 despite 123 rushing yards by Zach Jackson and 117 more by Tahir Mahmudov. Dakota Deverill caught three passes, good for 50 yards, and led the Brigands in tackles with seven.

Brussels is to close out its regular season this Saturday in Sigonella. Even with a victory, however, Brussels has no chance to make the D-III semifinals. Alconbury is scheduled to play the same day at Menwith Hill, where a victory would earn it a home-field game in the semis.
