Joshua Hudson of Camp Hovey and Jennifer Woods of K-16 Air Base headline the 8th Army team from Korea which will compete in the 2010 Army Ten-Miler race in October at Washington, 8th Army sports officials announced.

Hudson won the men’s junior-veteran (29-and-under) division of last month’s 8th Army Ten-Miler in 53 minutes, 27 seconds, while Woods captured the women’s junior-veteran title in 1 hour, 9 minutes and 48 seconds at Camp Casey’s Hanson Fitness & Sports Center.

Hudson is joined by Hovey teammate Richard Gash, Josue Morales of Yongsan Garrison, Ryan Murphy of Camp Walker, Thomas Marnoch of Camp Carroll, Hongadema Tchamitoki and Jeffrey Hayden of Camp Casey and Camp Humphreys’ Su Yi on the men’s team. Marnoch won the sub-master (30-39) and Morales the master (40-and-over) division in the 8th Army Ten-Miler.

Teaming with Woods on the women’s team are Camp Henry’s Carol Lowe and Shandah Marnoch, Fran Glass of Camp Walker, Jodi Wernikoff of Camp Carroll, Atilda Spahillari of Osan Air Base, Camp Casey’s Jamie Neumann and Susanna Hans of Camp Red Cloud. Marnoch won the 8th Army sub-master and Lowe the women’s master division.

Pat Noble of Camp Henry will coach the teams at Washington.
