Three players from Guam High School were selected to the Independent Interscholastic Athletic Association of Guam girls soccer All-Island team, according to a statement released Saturday by league president Martin Boudreau.
Meagan Speck, a junior midfielder, was named first-team All-Island for the second straight year; she was a first-team forward in 2009. Joining her were sophomores Alexis Vermeire and Melanie Strudhoff, named first-team defender and goalkeeper.
Honorable mention selections were Martina Duenas, a sophomore defender, and Quincy Tougher, a junior forward.
Guam High went 7-1-2 in the just-completed IIAAG season, good for second place.
