“Lisa Fontanez played great defense,” coach Sam Cassou said of the senior’s role in protecting Hanau’s final home-field advantage.

The victory was Hanau’s first of the season. Hanau, ticketed for closure next month, won the European girls Division III title last May, but will play in D-IV in this year’s European tournament.
