YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan – Guard Kendrick Harris came off the bench to score 31 points and host Yokota erased a 10-point first-half deficit, defeating Kadena of Okinawa 87-82 to capture the 2007 Warrior Classic Interservice Basketball Tournament title.

MVP Hamadi Stewart added 12 points for Yokota, which went 8-0 in the six-team tournament.

“My guys played basketball, and we got the W,” coach Norzell Harris said, singling out the efforts of Harris, his sixth man, and Stewart throughout the tournament as keys to victory.

“No way we win this tournament without them.”
