Brock Blankenship, the defending European 171-pound champion, pinned Domko in 1:27.“It’ll be a better match next time,” the elder Blankenship said of his son’s conquest over Domko. “I think [Domko] was trying too hard. He tried some things you can’t use against a wrestler with a lot of experience.”Coach Blankenship said he’s looking forward to this Saturday’s match at Wiesbaden, where reigning European 130-pound champ Kris Higgins is likely to face Wiesbaden’s Chris Spencer, last year’s 119-pound king. Ruiz probably will face Wiesbaden freshman sensation Michael Spencer at 140.
