VILSECK, Germany – Wiesbaden’s boys, fueled by the scoring Antonio Trawick and the inside work of Victor Strange, solidified their place in the Division I pecking order with 62-58 and 47-40 non-regional road victories over Vilseck on Friday and Saturday.Trawick struck for game highs of 16 points on Friday and 17 on Saturday, and Strange, who scored 13 points in each outing, collected 16 rebounds on Friday and 13 more, along with four blocks, on SaturdayRoscoe Johnson scored 16 points on Friday for Wiesbaden (8-1 overall), which is to host Mannheim for a Region II game on Saturday. They’ll take on Kaiserslautern, the third team in the Region II leaders’ triumvirate, the following week.Vilseck fell to 1-7 overall despite the efforts of Daniel Arroyo. Arroyo tallied a team-high 14 points in each game. Next up for the Falcons are a Region III gut-check against Division II favorite Bamberg. Vilseck is scheduled to host the Barons on Friday, then visit Bamberg on Saturday.
