The Wiesbaden Warriors made their first foray into the boys soccer win column on Friday, shaking off a halftime deficit to defeat the visiting SHAPE Spartans 2-1.

Wiesbaden found itself scoreless and trailing at the break after Enrique Diaz of SHAPE scored the lone goal of the first half. But goals from Brent Bluemmert and Jarred Edwards reversed the Warriors' hard-luck fortunes and delivered their first win in five tries.

Wiesbaden was held scoreless in three of its first four games, including a 0-0 tie with Ansbach, a fate it flirted with again Saturday before unleashing the second-half flurry.

The Warriors will try for the win streak next weekend at Vilseck in their final game of the regular season.
