BRUNNSUM, Netherlands - The Spangdahlem Sentinels continued to tear through the ranks of DODEA-Europe Division III football Saturday, this time handling the host AFNORTH Lions 58-26.

Deon Montgomery carried 11 times for 209 yards and three touchdowns, Adam Jolomo rushed 15 times for 179 yards and three touchdowns and Glen Haney tossed three touchdown passes for the Sentinels.

Alan Goldsmith totaled 115 rushing yards and a touchdown, Marquez Williams added 60 rushing yards and a touchdown and Caden Williams made two catches for 33 yards and a touchdown to pace AFNORTH.

The Lions, last year’s European runner-up, gave Spangdahlem its most competitive game of a dominant undefeated season. The Sentinels had beaten all previous opponents by at least 48 points and had not yielded more than seven points in any of their three preceding games.

Now 3-2 entering its regular-season finale at next weekend at Brussels, AFNORTH remains in the mix of teams hoping to nab one of two title-game spots available to the seven-team league.
