Sentinels maul another foe to remain perfect

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany - Another week, another blowout for the Spangdahlem Sentinels.

DODEA-Europe’s undefeated Division II football powerhouse made International School of Brussels its latest victim on Saturday in a 76-14 rout. The Sentinels can wrap up a perfect regular season with a win next weekend against visiting Vicenza.

Javian Rouse led the Spangdahlem assault with 165 yards and three touchdowns on just five carries. Jimmie Montgomery added 94 rushing yards and two touchdowns on four carries, while quarterback Eli Canaan posted two rushing touchdowns and passed to Tristan Korff for another. Kyros Bettelyoun posted a rushing and a receiving touchdown to cap Spangdahlem’s scoring in the fourth quarter.

Bettelyoun and Deon Montgomery headlined the Spangdahlem defense with matching interception returns for touchdown.
