SCHWEINFURT, Germany – The Schweinfurt Razorbacks, midway through their first season of DODDS-Europe football, downed the Vicenza Cougars 13-7 Saturday for their first victory of all time, sponsor-coach Dana Smith reported.

Devontay Collier and Tony Price each scored second-half touchdowns for the Razorbacks, who trailed 7-0 at halftime. Heather Smith kicked an extra point for Schweinfurt, a new school which was hosting its first homecoming game.

While Collins and Price were doing their thing, the Schweinfurt defense, which got two sacks from Logan Mansfield and a sack each from Roberto Bachelor and John Kiner, busied itself shutting out Vicenza the rest of the way. Bachelor led Schweinfurt with five tackles.

Next up for Schweinfurt (1-2) is a home Division II-South game against winless Hohenfels. Vicenza (0-3) is scheduled to host Aviano, unbeaten in II-South play, on Friday night.
