STEEREBEEK, Belgium – The Rota Admirals extended their 2011 unscored-upon streak to 96 minutes Saturday with a 57-0 blanking of the Brussels Brigands in the Division III conference opener for both teams.Rota, which shut out Aviano of Division II 26-0 the previous Saturday in a scrimmage, got three rushing touchdowns Saturday from T.P. Paris, more than enough for its defensive line of Colton Lippmann, Timothy Drake, Frankie Equivel and Jacob Smith to defend, according to Brussels coach Tim Mobley. Drake was in on 11 tackles.Ramon Quijano rushed three times for 96 yards for Rota, which is scheduled to host Sigonella on Satuirday.Juan Pablo Fuertes kicked a field goal for Rota, which led 20-0 after one period and 47-0 at halftime.Dakota Deverill led Brussels with 14 tackles. The Brigands, who are scheduled to travel to Alconbury on Saturday, got eight stops from Aidan McGraw.
