Boys soccer teams across DODEA-Europe played through the inclement conditions that blanketed much of the continent this weekend to register key results as the regular season approaches its end.

Kaiserslautern 1, Stuttgart 1: Saturday at Kaiserslautern, the defending Division I champions battled their guests to a draw.

Colin Dyer scored Kaiserslautern’s goal off an assist by Keanu Ahrend, while Abe Engelke put in a penalty kick for the Panthers’ lone score.

Kaiserslautern is done with the regular season and will open pursuit of its third straight European crown on May 20. Stuttgart wraps up its regular season next weekend against Wiesbaden.

Ramstein 5, SHAPE 0: Friday at Ramstein, the Royals ended the Spartans’ undefeated start to the season.

Jaden Buelvas and Gavin McMillan each scored twice for the Royals, with McMillan notching a hat trick with an assist. Diego Lopez dished out two assists for Ramstein.

Ramstein’s Division I slate is done; the Royals face Division III Baumholder next weekend.

Wiesbaden 2, Black Forest 0: Friday at Wiesbaden, the Warriors handled their Division II visitors.

Asa Moncivais and Tyrese Harris each scored in the second half to break up a scoreless halftime tie. Douglas Mathis made all four saves required of him for the Wiesbaden shutout.

Black Forest 4, AFNORTH 1: Saturday at Wiesbaden, the Falcons broke even on the weekend by tying the season series with the Lions.

Ethan Powell and Jurian van den Burg each scored two goals for BFA. Victor Soriano found the net for AFNORTH.

The game was the second neutral-site meeting for the two Division II rivals. AFNORTH defeated BFA 3-1 in an April 6 match at Kaiserslautern.

Naples 3, American Overseas School of Rome 2: Friday at Naples, the Division I Wildcats survived a worthy challenge from the Division II Falcons.

Chase Traylor scored twice to lead Naples, which went on to complete an undefeated season on Saturday with a 7-0 defeat of Florence. Wutti Khotsaeng scored three goals for Naples in that game.

Ansbach sweeps Alconbury: The visiting Cougars picked up two wins on their weekend trip to England, handling the host Dragons 8-1 on Friday and 9-3 on Saturday.

Nick Benson and Kevin Kamara each scored a total of six goals on the weekend, while Shane Nesbitt deposited five for the Cougars.

In other Division III action, Spangdahlem blanked Brussels 6-0 behind a three-goal, one-assist outing by Luis Martinez.

Vicenza 5, Sigonella 3: Saturday at Sigonella, the Cougars withstood the Jaguars’ second-half comeback effort.

Vicenza held a 5-0 lead at halftime but yielded three unanswered second-half goals to the Jaguars.

Layne Keck and Daniel Roman each scored two goals in the victory.

Aviano takes two from Rota: At Aviano, the host Saints took two tough games from visiting Rota.

Gavin Johnson scored the only goal of Friday’s 1-0 victory, while Nick Gilbert produced a goal and an assist in Saturday’s 3-1 decision.

Cameron Korassani scored Saturday to put the Admirals on the board.
