RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- The Ramstein Royals pounced on the visiting Wiesbaden Warriors from the opening kick of Friday’s night 45-6 DODEA-Europe Division I football victory.

Jason Jones returned the opening kickoff 90 yards, one of three Ramstein touchdowns in the first quarter and one of six in the game for the defending champions.

Quarterback Carl Norman competed eight of 12 pass attempts for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns, both to Makani Stenger. JJ Little totaled 60 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Royals. Logan Ridenbaugh led the Ramstein defense with seven tackles and three fumble recoveries.

Wiesbaden was held scoreless until a fourth-quarter touchdown run by quarterback Sam Houston. Warrior running back Austin Deckinga carried 22 times for 144 yards and added five tackles on defense.

Ramstein has rolled through its first two weeks of Division I play following an opening non-conference loss to Stuttgart. The Royals blanked Lakenheath 20-0 last weekend before throttling Wiesbaden on Friday.

The more consequential conference rematch with Stuttgart awaits next weekend.
