KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany -- The Kaiserslautern Raiders scored 24 unanswered fourth-quarter points Friday night to open their 2019 DODEA-Europe football season with a thrilling 45-30 defeat of the visiting Wiesbaden Warriors.

The Raiders, who snapped a years-long postseason drought with a semifinal berth last season, trailed 30-21 after three quarters before rallying for the non-conference win.

Kaiserslautern opens its conference schedule next weekend with another Friday-night game against visiting Stuttgart. The Raiders face the Warriors again on Sept. 27.

Kaiserslautern quarterback Nelson Rivas tossed four passing touchdowns. Nick Henry collected three of those, while Tre Dotson hauled in a 42-yard touchdown reception along with a pair of two-point conversions.

The Raiders added a pair of non-offensive touchdowns also. Darius Camp returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown and Stephan Cooley returned an interception for a score.

Quarterback Sam Houston completed five passes for 115 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for two more touchdowns for the Warriors. Austin Deckinga rushed 17 times for 85 yards and a touchdown.
