KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany - Curtis Hobson and Michael Mineni each scored two touchdowns Saturday to help the Patch Panthers to a 38-9 road victory over the winless Kaiserslautern Red Raiders.Hobson, who rushed for 74 yards in the game, registered one of his scores on a 93-yard kickoff return, according to Kaiserslautern coach Aaron Scalise, who added that Rodney Brown also scored a touchdown for Patch (3-1).Connor Hartzel led the Patch defense with two interceptions, a fumble recovery and nine tackles.For K-town (0-4), the big play was a 47-yard touchdown pass from Devin Joseph to Viane Talagola. Defensively, Kaiserlsautern’s Tysean Hendrix came up with 15 tackles, the fourth straight game he’s chalked up 12 tackles or more.Next up for Kaiserslautern is a Saturday game at Bristol, England; Patch is ticketed for a game at Vilseck the same day with second place in Division I on the line.Saturday’s game was the final one for the Vogelweh field. Next season, the Red Raiders will move into a new artificial-turf stadium nearing completion next to the school.
