WIESBADEN, Germany – Sam Rosario scored a game-high 16 points, and B.J. Taylor came off the bench to can four-of-his five 3-point tries Saturday to help the Mannheim Bison hand the Wiesbaden Warriors just their second defeat of the season, 48-46.After falling behind by 11 points at halftime, Wiesbaden (8-2 overall and 4-2 in Region II) mounted a 16-7 third-quarter run. But each team scored 13 points in the final quarter.Mannheim, coming off successive losses to two-time defending D-I champion Ramstein, improved to 3-9 overall, 3-4 in the region.Daniel Harris, who handed out five assists, and Tevin Teal, who snared five rebounds, topped Wiesbaden’s scoring chart with 11 points each. Antonio Trawick added 10 points.Next up for Wiesbaden is a Region II home game Tuesday against fellow D-I power Kaiserslautern. The visitors, unbeaten in regional play, will be gunning for their 10th straight victory. Since losing to Heidelberg of Region III 89-70 on Dec. 3, Kaiserslautern has won nine straight.Mannheim next is ticketed for regional home-and-home games Friday and Saturday against Bitburg. The Barons will invade the BFV Sports Arena on Friday and host the Bison on Saturday.
