WIESBADEN, Germany - The Lakenheath Lancers clinched a spot in the DODEA-Europe Division I postseason Saturday with a dramatic 27-23 triumph over the host Wiesbaden Warriors.

Logan Waller connected with Caleb Mcintosh for the game-winning touchdown pass with seven seconds to play in the game, a late-season clash with profound implications for the Division I postseason picture.

The outcome eliminates Wiesbaden from postseason contention regardless of its fortunes against Stuttgart next weekend, the last of the Division I regular season. The Warriors will miss the playoffs for the second straight year after a long string of championship-game appearances.

Lakenheath returns to the final four a year after reaching the European title game. The Lancers take on fellow playoff team Kaiserslautern next weekend to wrap up the regular season.

McIntosh hauled in six catches for 129 yards for the Lancers, while Shayne Brooks posted 122 rushing yards and a touchdown and Nick Scifo ran 18 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Brooks added nine tackles, tying teammate Tommy Leachman for game-high honors.

Austin Deckinga paced the Warriors offensively with 217 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries and led the defense with eight tackles.
