MANNHEIM, Germany – DeMarkus Hodge went two-for-two from the line in OT, and his Lajes teammate Kenny Stewart converted one of his two free throws in extra time Saturday to lift the Lajes Flacons to a 36-33 overtime victory over the Menwith Hill Mustangs in the DODDS-Europe Division III third-place game.Lajes junior Toderick Stevens scored a game-high 13 points, all in regulation, as the Falcons clawed back from a 16-8 first-quarter hole in a game which was tied at 33 at the end of regulation. Seth Aamodt added 12 points for the Azores-based Falcons, who got five points from Hodge, and three each from Erik Merkison and Stewart.Chris Jackson scored 11 points, and Josh Willis and Sam Ehrhard each scored 10 points for Menwith Hill, which trailed 30-29 going into the final stanza.
