BRUNSSUM, Netherlands -- A rematch of last year’s DODEA-Europe Division III football title game produced a stunning 133 combined points on Saturday.

The defending champion Ansbach Cougars scored a few more of those points to earn the 72-61 win over the host AFNORTH Lions, who fared far better in the rematch than they had in their 63-0 loss to the Cougars for last year’s small-school championship.

Video-game numbers were the norm for each team’s offensive standouts.

Devin Jenkins totalled 340 rushing yards, Dustin Martin threw for 360 yards and Keoni Galindes made seven catches for 280 yards for Ansbach.

AFNORTH quarterback David Immel threw for 448 yards, while preferred target Caden Williams finished with a line of 307 receiving yards and six touchdown receptions.
