The return of one All-Europe star and the continued dominance of another combined to create Kaiserslautern’s best girls soccer game of the season Saturday.

Celebrating the first senior night at its sparkling new facilities, the Red Raiders blasted visiting Bitburg 6-0 to snap a two-game winless streak.

Not coincidentally, Saturday saw the return of All-Europe senior Ally Murphy, who missed the previous two games to injury. Murphy scored five minutes into the game to set the tone for the afternoon’s blowout.

Fellow All-Europe senior Emily Crawford notched the assist on Murphy’s goal to open a remarkable offensive effort. The midfielder finished the afternoon with two goals and three assists, contributing to all but one of her team’s six goals.

Wiesbaden 5, Black Forest Academy 2: Saturday at Kandern, Germany, Meghan Smith scored three goals and the Warriors shook off a 2-2 halftime tie to claim victory.
