BRUSSELS - International School of Brussels tasted victory against its intracity DODDS-Europe rival Wednesday, opening its 2012-13 basketball season with a home-court girls and boys sweep of Brussels American School. The ISB boys won 50-28, while the girls won 26-18. Tim Overeem led three double-digit scorers for the ISB boys with 18 points, while Marc Jacobs added 15 and Marshall Kontos chipped in 11 for the Raiders. Sabrina Sepul led the way on offense and defense for the ISB girls, posting nine points, four rebounds and five steals. Anya Shelton scored eight points for Brussels.ISB now moves on to a home-and-home series with AFNORTH, visiting Brunssum on Friday and hosting the Lions on Saturday. Brussels visits the U.K. for Friday and Saturday games against Menwith Hill.
