BRUSSELS, Belgium – International School of Brussels crashed emphatically into the postseason Saturday with a 46-14 win over visiting Alconbury.

The teams entered the game with matching 2-2 records and tied for the Division II North region’s fourth and final playoff spot.

The host Raiders laid claim to that spot behind a diverse offensive attack. Pearce Keesling carried 20 times for 196 yards and three touchdowns. John Kontos added 89 rushing yards and a score. Marshall Kontos completed five passes for 59 yards, including an 18-yard touchdown pass to Marten Pardo.

The ISB defense was equally democratic, with four defenders making at least five tackles. Gurpreet Singh led with seven, Loris Hezemans and James Daly added six each and Tim Overeem made five. The Raiders picked off Alconbury throws four times, including two by Overeem.

Alconbury quarterback Kevin Beasley threw for 219 yards and a touchdown apiece to receivers Pavel Karamshin and Salomon Dana. Zane Leach led the Alconbury defense with 10 solo tackles, six assists and a forced fumble.

Correction Marten Pardo was misidentified in an earlier version of this article. Also, due to incorrect information from a coach, the names of Solomon Dana and Zain Leach were misspelled.
