HOHENFELS, Germany – Taylor Dore was the winning pitcher in both games Saturday as the Wiesbaden Lady Warriors downed Hohenfels 9-5 and 12-8 in Eastern Region softball.Victoria Meyers and Dore swung heavy bats for Wiesbaden in the sweep, according to Hohenfels coach Beth Fitrzgerald.Meyers doubled in Game 1 and tripled in the nightcap, Fitzgerald said in a Saturday telephone call, and Dore singled, doubled and tripled to back her eight-strikeout performance in Game 2.Casey Leon was the bright spot for Hohenfels (0-4). Leon clubbed a two-run homer in going 2-for-4 in Game 2.Hohenfels is scheduled to play two at home this Saturday against regional rival Bamberg; Wiesbaden (3-1) doesn’t play again until it hosts Mannheim on April 23.
