DUBUQUE, Iowa — The University of Dubuque, home to scores of former DODDS athletes in a variety of sports, has added competitive cheerleading to its list of activities, according to UD admissions director Bob Broshous.Dubuque, an NCAA Division III institution, has hired a full-time cheer and stunt coach, Drew Ritchie, an unusual move for a small college, Broshous said in his e-mail.“The University of Dubuque will build a cheer and stunt program with student athletes from around the country and around the world,” Broshous wrote. “We hope to include DODDS graduates.”To learn more about the school and its programs, see www.dbq.edu.
