BITBURG, Germany - C.J. Evans ran for three touchdowns Saturday to lift the three-time defending European Division II champion Bitburg Barons to a 42-0 Division II-North victory over the visiting International School of Brussels Raiders.The victory was the 25th straight for the Barons, who moved past SHAPE into sole possession of fourth place on the all-time list of DODDS-Europe winning streaks. SHAPE won 24 straight from 1982-85. The Barons will have a chance to tie the 26 straight won from 1994-96 by third-standing Ramstein when they visit SHAPE on Saturday. Ansbach holds the top two places on the list with 31 straight from 2006-2009 and 28 in a row from 2002-2005.Larry Jackson scored twice for the Barons, returning the opening kick-off 74 yards for a TD and adding a 7-yard scoring run later in the quarter. Bryson Randall ran 5 yards for the final first-quarter TD that put the Barons (3-0 overall, 2-0 in II-North) up 28-0.Evans ended the day averaging 10 yards per rush on his 10 carries; Evan Less completed his only pass of the game, good for 28 yards.Randall led the shutout-pitching Bitburg defense with seven tackles, three of them behind the line of scrimmage. Curtiss Wilson posted one tackle-for-loss among his six stops and recovered an ISB fumble.ISB (0-3 overall, 0-1 in II-North) is next scheduled to host AFNORTH Friday in a conference match-up.
