SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- The Spangdahlem Sentinels completed their conquest of the DODEA-Europe Division II regular season Saturday with a 53-6 rout of the visiting Vicenza Cougars.

Eli Canaan scored four rushing touchdowns to lead the Spangdahlem attack. Deon Montgomery totaled 139 yards and a touchdown for the Sentinels, while Javian Rouse and Shaquan Smith tacked on rushing touchdowns for the home team.

A democratic Spangdahlem defense produced a string of turnovers to put the ball back in the hands of its offense. Jimmie Montgomery had a sack and two fumble recoveries, Chartez Wiley added four tackles and a sack and Tristan Korff made four tackles and recovered a fumble to lead the way.

Spangdahlem, undefeated and generally unchallenged in a season full of routs, will host Naples in a semifinal next weekend.
