BAUMHOLDER, Germany -- The Alconbury Dragons picked up their first win of the season Saturday with a 42-6 rout of the Baumholder Bucs.

Adarius Gallon led the way for the Dragons with 203 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries. Dragon quarterback Fritz Sherenco added 96 rushing yards and 87 passing yards, with a touchdown each on the ground and through the air.Nick Dufresne caught a 40-yard-touchdown pass.

Middle linebacker Jake Williamson paced the defense with 14 tacles and two sack, while defensive end Chris Dufresne made 12 tackles and a sack.

Anthony Stewart returned the second-half kickoff 70 yards for the Dragons' final touchdown.

Baumholder lost quarterback Trey Kendrick to injury early, leaving an already thin and inexperienced squad without its offensive centerpiece. Solo Turgeon ran for 71 yards to lead the Bucs, while Justin Bryant turned in a fourth-quarter touchdown run.

Alconbury will look to round out its season on a win streak next weekend as it visits AFNORTH/Brussels. Baumholder, carrying an 11-game losing streak, will somehow seek to avoid a winless campaign against undefeated champion Ansbach.
