MANNHEIM, Germany — Ashley McGee’s three-pointer in overtime was the game-winner Saturday as SHAPE earned its first victory of the season, 21-19 against Black Forest Academy in a game played in Mannheim, Germany.

McGee (12 points) and Devina Marquez (nine) provided all the scoring for the Lady Spartans, who didn’t score a point in the fourth quarter.

SHAPE takes a 1-3 Division II record into its next game, a home contest next Saturday against Division II co-leader Mannheim.

In other games of note on Friday and Saturday:

Ramstein sweeps ISB: At Ramstein, Germany, Corrine Lauture scored 17 points and Krissy Grosselin 13 as Ramstein roared back from a 35-27 third-quarter deficit to nip the International School of Brussels 47-46 and complete a two-game sweep.

Grosselin, a three-time All-Europe guard who scored 20 points in Ramstein’s 48-34 triumph on Friday night, grabbed 13 rebounds in Saturday’s game for the Lady Royals (7-3).

ISB fell to 6-4.

Lady Lancers, Heidelberg split: At RAF Lakenheath, England, the fast-improving Heidelberg Lady Lions rode a 20-point second quarter to a 48-47 victory over defending European Division I champion Lakenheath on Friday.

On Saturday, Lakenheath outscored Heidelberg 21-0 in the first quarter and rolled to a 56-33 victory.

Ebony Morris, who had 16 points and 18 rebounds in Friday night’s loss, paced Lakenheath (6-2) on Saturday with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals.

Heidelberg takes a 5-5 record into Tuesday night’s home game against unbeaten Kaiserslautern.

Sanders boosts Vilseck: At Bitburg, Germany, Vilseck’s La Porchea Sanders canned a pair of three-pointers in a 50-29 victory over AFNORTH on Friday, then came back on Saturday to sink threes in a 34-13 triumph over Bitburg.

The three-pointers were the icing on Sanders’ act. She registered 26 points on Friday and 27 on Saturday as Vilseck upped its season record to 7-1 overall and 3-1 in Division II going into this weekend’s showdown with visiting D-2 co-leader Hanau on Friday and Saturday.

Schelhas breaks loose: At Baumholder, Germany, Tish Schelhas poured in 51 points for the homestanding Lady Bucs in a pair of Division III-South victories over Giessen.

Schlehas, a second-team All-Europe choice as a sophomore last year, victimized her guests for 17 points in Friday’s 50-32 romp, then torched the winless Griffins for 36 points and six steals in Saturday’s 69-44 triumph.

Shawntae Price aided Baumholder’s cause with 10 points on Friday and 15 on Saturday as the Lady Bucs evened their season record at 5-5 overall and their conference mark at 3-3.

Lady Jags roll on: At Sigonella, Italy, the Lady Jaguars kept their perfect season intact with a pair of 40-point courtesy-rule victories over winless Marymount.

Friday, Sigonella held Marymount scoreless for the second and third quarters en route to a 43-2 triumph; Saturday, the count was 47-7.

Sigonella improved to 8-0 overall and 6-0 in American Schools in Italy League play heading into this weekend’s Friday night and Saturday games against Aviano.
