Cameron Huffman threw four touchdown passes and returned an interception for a fifth score Saturday to lead Würzburg to a 34-12 home victory against Lakenheath in the Division I conference opener for both teams.

Lorenzo Zesati caught touchdown passes of 33 and 24 yards.

Joel Marbut and Ryan Bratton each had one touchdown catch. Marbut’s covered 23 and Bratton’s 71 yards.

A.J. Miles rushed for 71 yards for Würzburg (1-1 overall, 1-0 in conference).

Wes Kelnic had a 3-yard touchdown run and Jeremiah Walker added a 29-yard scoring run for Lakenheath (0-2, 0-1).

In another D-1 game Saturday:

Wiesbaden 51, Kaiserslautern 28

At Wiesbaden, All-Europe back Shannon McCray returned to Wiesbaden from the States just in time to help the European D-1 champions amass 538 total yards.

McCray carried just nine times for 139 yards and two touchdowns as the Warriors took a 44-28 halftime lead.

Isaac Horton added 124 yards and a TD on eight rushes, and quarterback Aaron Orr added 91 rushing yards and 111 passing yards while completing seven of nine passes. Orr ran for a TD and passed to Jay Parker for a 58-yard score.

Chase Socha also ran for a touchdown for Wiesbaden (1-1, 1-0).

Quinten Strawder, moved from quarterback to tailback in Kaiserslautern’s veer attack, rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns and caught a TD pass. Rashawn Williams also pulled in a touchdown pass from QB Antoine Carter, who passed for 207 yards and rushed for 68 for the Red Raiders (0-2, 0-1).
