I see that the Army is responding to the shootings at Fort Hood, Texas, with a massive, wasteful, futile, politically correct program of "resiliency training."

We profess ignorance of the suspect’s motive while we stare it in the face. It is the same Islamic religious hatred that motivated the Sept. 11, 2001, mass murders, and literally tens of thousands of others around the world since. But we would certainly rather die than risk offending our enemies.

Bushes’ low profile at Hood

[Former President George W. Bush and wife Laura] didn’t want a photo op. They snuck in under the radar [after the shooting at Fort Hood, Texas] and lent their time, thoughts and prayers to our soldiers and families who have undergone a most disastrous event.

It might not make the mainstream media, and I doubt they really wanted it to, but it was a big hit with me. As a soldier, I thank him and his family for all they do and will continue to do.
