It seems that the plan to punish soldiers for getting pregnant during deployment has fallen apart faster than newly issued Army equipment ("Military will drop policy punishing pregnancies," article, Dec. 26).
I thought that, for once, someone was going to fix the preggers problem. Well, thanks for trying.
Now to all the expectant moms who are leaving the country soon: I wish you and the baby well. But I hope you are in labor for, say, 48 hours before the blessed event. I figure that is about how much extra time some soldiers will spend pulling your weight now that you decided to be a mom, after you promised to be a soldier!
I will now squat in my cyber fighting position and await the return fire.
