Insulting to servicemembers

Re: "Air Force wants to trim 5,750 people by 2012" (article, March 26): Shame on you!
Build-ups and reductions in force are always with us, in every service. To disrespect the sacrifices and service of our all-volunteer force in time of war by using the slang "get rid of" [in the story] insults every man and woman in uniform defending our nation. We do not "get rid" of those who serve and risk their lives for our country.
This article was also picked up and sent to hundreds of thousands of people by Military.com, adding further disrespect.
