I am appalled, but not surprised, by yet another apparent disregard for ethics and unscrupulous practices by KBR ("Task force re-inspecting U.S. facilities in Iraq for faulty wiring," article, Nov. 1). How long will it be allowed to continue, putting soldiers’ lives at risk and getting paid for it?

I would like to know: Did KBR get paid for the inspections — completed and not completed — that the military is having to go back and re-inspect?
