All this commentary about the Trijicon sights is ridiculous! The only thing that should matter is whether the sight is mission-capable.
Does it get the job done? Does it allow our brothers-in-arms to successfully engage the enemy? If the answer is yes, then I don’t care what they put on the sights as long as it helps soldiers get home safely to their loved ones.
All this hoopla about a few letters and numbers on a sight. Walk around Camp Buehring, Kuwait, and you will notice that more than half of the unit murals painted on the concrete barriers have a reference to a biblical passage. What shall we do, destroy all the murals?
Bottom line is, if the sights are effective in combat, then use them. I would rather have equipment that works than junk that is politically correct.
