Submitted by Sgt. 1st Class Anthony Mann, 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), LSA Anaconda, Iraq. I was walking to the Main PX here at LSA Anaconda and I was quite surprised to see, attempting to enter the PX, was an Imperial Storm Trooper, in a gleaming white uniform. The uniform was complete with appropriate weapon — the long one that looks like a machine gun — and the orange shoulder guard. Considering that this is the dust capital of the world, the Storm Trooper’s white suit was abnormally clean.

Submitted by Keith Lepor, Kabul, Afghanistan. Lt. Col. Douglas Mastriano of Headquarters ISAF gives stuffed toys to Afghan orphans during a humanitarian relief mission to an orphanage containing nearly 150 needy children. This was one of several trips to this orphanage and the items distributed were mostly donations from generous Americans in Germany, the United States and Japan.
