Sgt. Maj. W.T. Wilson Jr. is the new top enlisted Marine at Camp Fuji, Japan.

Wilson, who arrives from Headquarters Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Hawaii, relieved Sgt. Maj. Randolph L. Mitchell of his duties at the Combined Arms Training Center in a formal ceremony at Fuji on June 10.

Mitchell will become the sergeant major of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni. According to his biography, he arrived at Fuji in January 2004.

During the ceremony, Col. J.J. Tabak, Fuji’s commander, presented Mitchell with a Navy commendation medal for his efforts at the base over the past 18 months.
