Here’s what bases across Japan have planned for Thanksgiving festivities:

Yokosuka Naval BaseThe Spectrum Liberty Loft will hold an appetizer buffet, with tournaments and prize giveaways starting at 3 p.m. and will run a comedy movie festival from 6 p.m. to midnight.

The Bowling Alley also will be open with a $10 lane rental fee special that includes up to five pairs of rental shoes.

The Chief Petty Officers Club and the Seaside All Hands Club also offer buffets from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. CPO Club buffet is $15.95 adult, $7.95 children 8 to 11, $5.95 children 5 to 7 and Seaside buffet is $14.95 adult and $6.95 for children.

The Officers’ Club will be open for Thanksgiving Day dinner from noon to 7 p.m.

The Negishi All Hands Club will serve breakfast from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. then offer a traditional meal from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Club Takemiya at Ikego will hold a buffet from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. $12.95 adult and $6 children, 12 and under.

AtsugiThe base will hold an All Hands Thanksgiving Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Officers’ Club.

A Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run on Nov 22 at noon at the Halsey Gym.

Yokota Air BaseThe dining facility will hold a holiday meal for troops from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.

The enlisted club will hold a buffet Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring both breakfast items and traditional holiday foods. Buffet is $19.95 for adults, $10.95 for children 6 to 11 years old and free for children age 5 and under.

The Officers’ Club is offering a meal Thursday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. adults $18.95, $11.95 for children 12 to 14, $9.95 for children age 6 to 11, and free for children age 5 and under.

Camp ZamaTroops are welcome to join a holiday meal Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the dining facility.

The community club will offer a meal from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday. Reservations are $14.95 for adults, $7.95 for children age 8 to 12, $5.95 for children age 7 and younger and free for children under age 3. There is a $2 increase in admission the day of the event.

Tama HillsEnjoy a holiday brunch on Thursday at the recreation area. Seats are still available for the 9 a.m. service. Call 224-3421 for reservations.

Misawa Air BaseThe Lunney Youth Center is holding a family feast Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Parents are invited to join their children. Call DSN 226-3220 for more information.

The Grissom Dining Facility offers a meal from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. The event is open to all officers, enlisted personnel and U.S. military retirees and their family members. A discounted rate is available to enlisted family members of E-4 and below. Meal includes turkey, beef and ham. Call DSN 226-4463 for more information.

The Collocated Club is serving a buffet Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Tohoku Ballroom. The menu includes turkey, ham, chicken or roast pork with green beans, corn, yams and potatoes, $14.95 for adults and $7.95 for children 6 to 12 years old. Call DSN 222-9512 for more information.

The Walmsley Bowling Center offers a bowling special Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bowling will be $1.25 per game with free shoe rental. Call DSN 222-7731 for more information.
