CAMP RED CLOUD, South Korea — Area I soldiers have been put on the wagon through Sept. 3 because of a training exercise.

The U.S. soldiers — and the Korean Augmentees to the U.S. Army who work with them — are not allowed to drink alcohol from Aug. 12 through Sept. 3, according to a report in “The Morning Calm,” the military’s newspaper in South Korea.

“General Order No. 1 will be in effect … in Warrior Country,” according to the report.

“No alcohol will be consumed during this time.”

The restriction does not apply to U.S. Air Force personnel, Department of Defense civilians or contractors, according to the report.
