Various demonstrations are planned in central Germany this weekend.

U.S. Army officials say that the demonstrations are, for the most part, expected to be peaceful, but personnel are advised to stay away from the affected areas.

On Friday:

• There will be an anti-war demonstration in Stuttgart. Between 50 and 100 people are expected to participate.

• There will also be a peace rally in Bad Kreuznach by about 10 people.

• No further details are available on time or specific location for either event.

On Saturday:

• An expected 200 people will march from outside the Stuttgart train station to the Esslingen train station at 10 a.m.

• An expected 200 demonstrators will meet in Frankfurt’s Bockenheimer Warte and march to the Iranian Consulate between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

• More than 100 pro- and anti-Nazi demonstrators will march in Saarlouis. No further details are available.

• About 10 people will be holding a peace rally outside of Ramstein Air Base. No details on time or location are available.

On Sunday:

• About 50 people are expected at a protest in front of a Frankfurt CNN office on Liebigstrasse around 4 p.m. for two hours.
