WIESBADEN, Germany — Some ESSO fuel card services will not be available Sunday morning due to system maintenance, the Army and Air Force Exchange Service announced.

The system upgrades will be performed between 4 a.m. and noon on Sunday. During that time, some customer service functions such as the activation of new fuel card accounts, and phone payments will be unavailable, AAFES said in a news release.

The upgrades are necessary to reset the system’s clocks to reflect U.S. Standard Time.

Other customer service functions not available while the system is being upgraded are: Verifone credit and debit transactions, Third-Party Gift Cards, Name Brand Fast Food (NBFF), Milstar, Exchange Credit Program (ECP) functions, and WEX and Voyager.
