SEOUL — The U.S. Embassy will offer passport and other services for U.S. citizens in Busan Sept. 29-30, according to an embassy news release.

Services will include notarials (documents that must be witnessed by a notary public); first-time passports, passport renewals and amendments to passports; reports of birth abroad; new and replacement Social Security cards; and information on absentee voting, filing income taxes and Social Security benefits.

All fees must be paid in cash, either U.S. dollars or Korean won.

The services will be provided from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Atlantis Board Room on the B-1 floor of the Paradise Hotel.

Forms, available at the embassy’s Web site, can be filled out in advance to speed service.
